Alla's Lodges – Mulchatna and Nushagak RiversFrom June through August, Alla’s Lodge offers accommodations in a four-bedroom home in New Stuyahok, a southern Yup'ik village on the Nushagak River about 50 miles northeast of Dillingham. The lodge can house 8-10 people and offers home-cooked breakfasts and dinners and a shared bathroom, shower, kitchen and laundry facilities. Mary Ann Petla packs lunch for you to take out into the field, and sometimes treats visitors to a ride in her boat to spot eagle, bear, moose, wolf or fox along the Nushagak River she’s lived along for several decades. She’s been fishing since she was 5 years old, when her dad would take her out to the Nushagak River and Bristol Bay, subsistence fishing with set nets and drift nets. Now, her husband, Andrew, and a few other guides lead sport-fishers on the river in search of salmon, trout and grayling. Andrew and his guides would love to help you dip-net for King or Silver Salmon or fly-fish for Rainbow Trout or Dolly Vardens. Rates:
